LIS students delighted audiences with outstanding performances in Beauty & The Beast Jr on March 14th & 16th 2019 at the Regency Theatre. The long hours of practice under the direction of the LIS Music and Drama teacher Mr. Emmanual Bulalacao allowed our students to deliver a professional show with their acting, singing, dancing and professional costumes and set design. The show was another example of how the LIS community works together to help make our extra curricular programmes successful for all or our students. LIS was awarded the Green Flag by Eco Schools. Eco Schools originated in Denmark 25 years ago and developed a global model for environmental education and sustainability at the international level

This year's graduation ceremony was held on May 25, 2018 at the Grand Lucayan.

The Last Supper was held on May 23, 2018 at the Grand Bahama Sailing Club.

Congratulations to Katelyn Cabral in Year 10 for making the Carifta Swim Team.

18 Students from LIS's Middle School attended the Lyford Cay Soccer Tournament that hosted students from all over the Caribbean.

On Saturday February 24th, 250+ people attended the International Festival hosted at LIS. Students performed a song or dance from a country represented by the families at LIS and parents provided wonderful culinary delights from their home country.

30+ students from LIS rushed at this year's Junior Junkanoo and LIS placed 4th in the all-school division.
